Texas Masonry Council Hall Of Fame Award Ceremony Words: Jeff BuczkiewiczOn March 20th, the Texas Masonry Council celebrated its Hall of Fame Installation at the historic Alamo in San Antonio. This prestigious event brought together industry leaders and supporters to honor the achievements of individuals who have made significant contributions to the masonry industry throughout their career. The event occurs annually and recognizes the industry Giants in Texas. This year, Congressman Pete Sessions was in attendance and assisted in the presentation of awards to the recipients. The Hall of Fame inductees included Mackie Bounds of Brazos Masonry, Mel Oller of Hoggatt L.P., Dennis Knautz of Acme Brick Co., and Kevin Camarata of Camarata Masonry Systems, Ltd.. Each of these individuals have left a mark on the industry through their innovation, leadership, and commitment to excellence.The event was generously sponsored by Shadrock & Williams Masonry, who is currently working on restoration at the Alamo.
