After almost 30 years of dedicated service, Lynda Spina is retiring from her role as Chief Financial Officer of STABILA North America, closing an extraordinary chapter defined by steady leadership, financial discipline, and lasting impact.

Since joining the company, Lynda has played a pivotal role in shaping STABILA’s financial strategy and operational strength across North America. Her tenure has spanned periods of growth, economic uncertainty, market expansion, and technological change. No matter the challenge she faced each one with strength, composure, and intuition.

As CFO, Lynda brought more than financial expertise to the role. She brought vision. She strengthened financial operational processes, guided long-term budget initiatives, and ensured the organization maintained the stability necessary to innovate and grow.

Colleagues consistently describe Lynda as thoughtful, principled, and collaborative. “Lynda is always thinking of others. She loves to cook, and is always generously making homemade bread for friends, neighbors, family, and co-workers! Lynda is always positive, kind and helpful.” Says Dawn Lussow, Customer Service Representative – Canada.

She built high-performing teams by mentoring emerging leaders and fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and support. “Lynda is someone who always goes above and beyond for us. She has always treated me like family and has gifted me with her knowledge, allowing me to grow as an individual and professional. Her guidance and skills throughout the last 21 years I take with me daily” Says Lyssa Berdusco, customer service representative - USA.

Leadership transitions are moments of reflection, and this one is no exception. Lynda’s retirement marks the conclusion of a remarkable professional journey defined by dedication and impact. It also represents the beginning of a new chapter for both her and the company she helped shape. “Lynda has provided the mortar that holds our building together for almost 30 years and has been a mentor for customer relations. I also consider Lynda a dear friend and I’ll miss her smiling face.” Says Rich Morse, VP of Sales.

But what better way to explain how impactful her retirement is than in her own words.

“I joined the company as the Finance Manager in October 1998. It has been a true honor to help build this brand. Our core values for providing quality products and excellent customer service still resonate today. Our team has grown throughout the years from just a handful of employees to fully functional departments that include Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Purchasing, Finance and Marketing. We all work together to bring value to our distributor base and end users. We like to say, we all have yellow running through our veins!

We have built this brand with the help of many partnerships and alliances, from our manufacturing reps to our Associations and many others. As I look back on my career and look at the torn now yellowed business cards I have kept, I’m reminded of all the people I have had the pleasure of working with. Some are gone now, but so many that started with us are still with the team today. I’m proud to say I’ve been a part of something so special.

As a company, we have been through many ups and downs. We’ve survived recessions, a pandemic, and even with the latest tariff uncertainty, but we have just kept moving forward.

In 2024, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I can happily say that now I’m a survivor, but it has caused me to re-evaluate my life and ask what the next chapter will be. It’s time to let a new leader, with fresh eyes and new ideas help bring STABILA to the next “Level”.

I’d like to express my profound gratitude to the entire team in North America and in Germany for all of love and support over the years. Finally, I want to save the biggest thank you to my husband, Ernie, and my family who have always been by my side on this journey.

All my best!!” says Lynda Spina.

While she will be deeply missed in day-to-day operations, her influence will continue to be felt for years to come through the systems she strengthened, the teams she developed, and the standards she set. Her commitment to financial stewardship has positioned STABILA North America and worldwide for continued success.

“I have been honored to have been working beside her for the last 6 years and seeing firsthand how much she means to this company and also seeing how much this company and the staff mean to her is beyond astonishing. She has made a hell of a mark on STABILA and we will miss her.” Expresses Jeff Beck.
