The program includes two AIA continuing education classes: "Normalizing Delegated Design of Concrete Masonry" and "Built for Learning: Concrete Masonry and Resilient K-12 Schools." The sessions are expected to address practical topics such as project coordination, resilient design, and the use of concrete masonry in school construction.In addition to classroom sessions, attendees will have access to hands-on demonstrations and a plant tour at Interstate Brick. These activities are intended to give participants a closer understanding of masonry products, production processes, installation practices, and the craftsmanship involved in completed masonry work.The day will also include competitive events such as the SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500® and the Masonry Skills Challenge.
